It is used for cases of Diabetes Mellitus type 2 if there are not responses by dietary program. Glibenclamide as an oral anti diabetic medications promotes the increased insulin secretion from the beta cell of islet tissue in the pancreas by means of an unspecific processed, decreases hepatic glycogenolysis and gluconeogenesis.
